From upload to label
You read an SDS in once and use the data everywhere: in the inventory, the risk assessment, the workplace instruction card and the label. Chemspark prepares; you check and decide.
Every SDS read
Upload a PDF in Dutch or English, one at a time or up to 25 at once. Chemspark reads the H, P and EUH statements, pictograms, composition with CAS numbers, limit values per substance and transport data. That takes a few seconds, or up to a minute for a long SDS. If Chemspark is unsure about a value, the product is marked 'Needs review'. A scanned SDS is always flagged.
Ready for the risk assessment
The hazard and the vapour pressure come from the SDS. You answer a short screening about the task and Chemspark gives the outcome: safe, qualitative assessment needed or in-depth assessment needed. For each route (inhalation, skin, fire and explosion) you see a risk level with advice. You record the measures yourself.
Regulatory lists checked straight away
Every substance is checked against the SVHC list, REACH authorisation and restrictions, the ZZS list and the SZW list. Chemspark recognises CMR from the H statements. You see every match under Compliance.
Workplace instruction cards
Chemspark prepares a workplace instruction card per product with data from the SDS and the measures you recorded, in Dutch, English or both. You check it, adjust what's needed and print it.
GHS labels
Workplace labels with the correct pictograms, signal word and H and P statements in official wording. Four sizes, up to nine per A4 sheet.
Expiring SDSs in view
You set how long an SDS stays valid. Chemspark warns you before an SDS expires and lists expired SDSs by supplier under SDS updates, with a request letter.
Checked against the lists that matter
On every upload and every change, Chemspark compares all substances in the product against the EU-wide lists that apply in every member state, plus the Dutch lists and your own:
- SVHC list: the EU Candidate List of substances of very high concern under REACH
- REACH Authorisation (Annex XIV) and Restrictions (Annex XVII): substances that need authorisation or are restricted
- CMR substances: carcinogenic, mutagenic or toxic for reproduction, derived from the product's H statements
- ZZS list (Netherlands): the Dutch environmental-policy list of substances of very high concern, broader than the SVHC list
- SZW list (Netherlands): the Dutch lists of carcinogenic, mutagenic and reprotoxic substances, with the category shown
- Custom lists: your own substance list from Excel or CSV, for example from a customer or your sector
You see straight away which substances need extra attention. If a substance is added to a list later, you get a notification.
