    Reports

Reports takes everything the organisation records in Chemspark out of the app: as an on-screen overview, as a CSV for a spreadsheet or as a PDF to print. Exporting is part of every subscription. The data stays the organisation's own.

    For: Users · Admins

    What is on the page

One toolbar sits at the top, with the report preview below it. Clicking a column header sorts the preview; the export keeps that order. Active filters show as labels above the preview and can be removed with one click.

    • Start from: pick a quick report or one of your own templates. Without a choice it reads 'Custom report'.
    • Data Source: what the report is about, for example Products, Measures or Logbook.
    • Columns: which data goes into the report, in the order they were ticked.
    • Filters: for sources that allow them, for example by health hazard, risk level, type of assessment or date range.
    • Save Template, Refresh and Export.

    The data sources

There are 13 sources. Together they cover everything the organisation records in Chemspark. If the organisation has Custom Lists under Compliance, those can also be chosen as columns for the Products source.

    • Products and Kit parts
    • Screening decisions, Risk assessments and Quantitative results
    • Measures and Workplace cards
    • Earlier SDS versions and SDS requests
    • Suppliers, Storage and Locations & departments
    • Logbook

    Quick reports and templates

A quick report sets source, columns and filters in one click. Everything can still be changed afterwards; once the report differs from what was loaded, 'edited' appears after its name.

Save Template stores the chosen source, columns and filters under a name of your choice. The template then appears under Start from, in My templates, where it can also be deleted. Templates apply to the whole organisation: colleagues see them too and can load or delete them.

    • All chemicals: the full register with health hazard, H-statements, physical state, supplier and SDS date.
    • CMR register: the products with CMR properties, showing per product whether it counts for the CMR registration and why.
    • Regulatory lists per product: per product the matches on the SZW, ZZS, SVHC and REACH lists.
    • SDS expiry: per SDS the revision date and whether it has expired, oldest first.
    • High-risk assessments: assessments with risk High or Very high, candidates for extra measures.

    Exporting

    1. Build the report, or load a quick report or template.
    2. Click Export.
    3. Choose Spreadsheet (CSV) or PDF.
    4. Click Download.
    • Spreadsheet (CSV): all rows; opens in Excel, Numbers and Google Sheets.
    • PDF: a printable table through the browser's print dialog, headed by the report name, organisation, location and filters. If the browser blocks the print window, allow pop-ups for Chemspark.
    • During a trial, exporting is locked; viewing still works. A paid subscription unlocks it.

    Typical tasks

    • Producing the overview for the CMR registration: load the CMR register quick report. See 'Compliance and the CMR registration'.
    • Keeping assessments and measures in your own archive: choose the Risk assessments or Measures source and export.
    • Listing the SDSs that need renewing: load SDS expiry.
    • Taking all data along, for example when a subscription ends: export every source as CSV.

    Who can do what

Everyone in the organisation can build reports, save templates and export. A user sees the data of their own location. An admin picks a location or All locations at the top; the report follows that choice.
